A peaceful people, the Flinarj devoted their resources to advancing their engineering skills and building enormous cities. For two thousand years, the inhabitants of the planet lived harmoniously with each other until the Flinar jians were attacked by their more warlike neighbours, the Quarriors. Their empire pillaged by the rampaging Quarriors, the Flinarj retreated to their capital city. The Quarrian warriors laid siege to the city. Victory looked certain until a remarkable event occured. This event was described by an anonymous Quarrian foot soldier and published in an edition of the Zargon Times - Despatches from the Front.
