Each guided missile launcher comes complete with 5 missiles. When these are all used, the launcher will self destruct. Missiles can be launched in one of two initial directions, diagonally up to the left, and diagonally up to the right. If there is a target, such as Privateer or alien creature then the missile will lock onto, chase and destroy it. If no target can be found, or potential targets are out of range, the missile circles until it runs out of fuel. Missiles have a wide turning circle, so beware launching them in enclosed spaces. Extractors are also advised to be well out of the way when they are launched.
