  5. This patch will update Descent v1.0 (the one on the CD) to version 1.4a.  First install Descent, then unzip all files in this patch into your Descent directory and type "patch".  This will NOT patch Descent Shareware.

  7. Now move on to the Descent 1.4a to 1.5 patch.
