  4. | How to install the Pray for Death demo |

  6. If you are under Win95 activate a DOS shell.
  7. Type the letter of your CD drive (i.e. E:) to log into the cd-rom and 
  8. type install <drive> (i.e. install C:). The installation batch create a
  9. directory named PRAYDEMO in your selected drive and copy all the files in.
  10.  
  11. When you have run the install, you will need to configure 'PRAYDEMO' 
  12. with your soundcard settings.
  13. To do this, change to the directory where you have installed 'PRAYDEMO'
  14. and type CONFIG. You will still have to run this if you have no soundcard
  15. but you must select NO SOUND.
  16.  
  17. WARNING: If you select a wrong soundcard or enter wrong parameters during
  18.          the sound configuration the game could crash.

  23. The demo needs AT LEAST 7600Kb of total free ram (use the command mem
  24. to see how much memory is available on your system) and AT LEAST 15
  25. files (check for the word FILES=15 in your config.sys).

  27. If you are running under Windows '95 and you can't get enough memory re-start your
  28. computer in MS DOS mode.

  30. Once you have installed the game change to the directory where you have installed
  31. 'PRAYDEMO' and type PRAY and press ENTER.

  36. In the demo you can't change the graphic details so the game will be
  37. slower on some machines...

  39. In the full game you will be able to turn details off so you it will run at
  40. a good speed on a 486DX2 66.

  45. In the demo you will find two characters and two backgrounds, no music and
  46. 90% of the sound effects.
  47. Remember to check the keys in the configuration menu!

  49. NOTE: The hard moves are accessed by pressing the two kick/punch keys
  50.       at the same time.
