  1. The Total Entertainment Network is an online destination where 
  2. you can take part in top interactive entertainment with people 
  3. from around the world.

  5. The software you are about to install is what we call TEN's 
  6. Preview Edition. The Preview Edition will connect you to a game 
  7. arena on TEN.  From there you can play your game against other 
  8. people online, and chat between the action. In addition, the 
  9. Preview Edition gives you full access to the Internet (that's how it 
  10. connects you to TEN) -- so if you have the right software, you can 
  11. browse the World Wide Web, send e-mail, and do other Internet 
  12. stuff.

  14. To make it all happen, first install the TEN Preview Edition 
  15. software -- it's only a couple of megabytes. You'll then connect to 
  16. our Registration Area where you'll find out about TEN's pricing, 
  17. your free trial, and which access number is nearest to you. (If 
  18. you're already using an Internet connection you're fond of, you 
  19. don't even need an access number!  Just run TEN while connected 
  20. to the Internet provider.)

  22. After you've subscribed to TEN through the Preview Edition, we'll 
  23. send you our CD-ROM so you can experience the rest of the service. 
  24. You'll be able to explore the Web, set up a personal profile, 
  25. download files, play games, and more.

  27. But watch out -- TEN is creating a whole new medium for interactive 
  28. entertainment. We'll be doing lots of experimenting, trying things no 
  29. one has ever done. With your help, we can evolve TEN into 
  30. something extraordinary --  something we could never predict.  Join
