  5. PLEASE NOTE!!!!  You need BOTH files in order to play WarWizard.
  6. They are: ww_2_3_a.zip AND ww_2_3_b.zip.  We split the file
  7. in two so it is easier to download to floppies.

  9. BUT IF YOU ALREADY HAVE VERSION 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2:
  10. ww_2_3_p.zip is a patch file, which will upgrade your
  11. version 2.0, 2.1 or 2.2 game to version 2.3.  If you already have
  12. WarWizard on your system, just unzip this file into
  13. your directory, answer yes when it asks if it is ok
  14. to overwrite files, and then run WarWizard.  Your 
  15. previous saved games will be fine.

  17. WarWizard is a fully playable (ie, not crippled) shareware
  18. role playing game.  Please download and enjoy.

  20. LONG DESCRIPTION:
  21. WarWizard is a large scale Computer Role-Playing Game (CRPG) from 
  22. MicroGenesis that casts you into the role of the WarWizard, a powerful 
  23. multi-class character ready to complete a variety of quests and 
  24. adventures.  Reminiscent of earlier games of the same genre, yet updated 
  25. with modern graphics and sound, WarWizard offers non-linear game play 
  26. that is simply challenging and fun.  Professional VGA high resolution 
  27. graphics and digital sound, along with an emphasis on PLAYABILITY 
  28. (as opposed to flash and glitter), will provide you with hours and hours 
  29. of exploration, combat, and pure enjoyment.

  31. REQUIREMENTS:
  32.   ■  - VGA graphics and color monitor.
  33.   ■  - 80386 or faster processor.
  34.   ■  - 4 Megabytes of memory minimum and DOS 5.0 or higher.
  35.   ■  - Hard Drive with at least 10 Megabytes of free storage (more for
  36.        multiple saved games).
  37.   ■  - Mouse and proper mouse drivers loaded.

  39. RECOMMENDED:
  40.   ■  - Sound Blaster & compatibles, Pro Audio Spectrum series,
  41.        or Adlib soundcards  --  for high quaility digital sound effects.
  42.   ■  - Running SMARTDRV.EXE or equivalent disk caching program (to speed 
  43.        up disk access).
