  1.    This patch will update your installation of Empire II: The Art of War
  2. from Version 1.00 to Version 1.01.
  3.  
  4.    Please copy the file UPD_E2.EXE to the directory into which you have
  5. installed Empire II, and run it by typing the command "upd_e2" at the
  6. command prompt.
  7.  
  8.    Note that you will need the Empire II CD-ROM, if you have used the
  9. "minimal installation" option when installing the game.
  10.  
  11.    Should you ever re-install the game from CD-ROM, you will have to
  12. re-apply this update.
