  3. Patch Installation Directions:

  6. Copy all the files that came on the Whiplash patch disk into your Whiplash 
  7. directory.  Your Whip.exe will be updated and these files will be added:

  9. Wpatch1.bat
  10. Wpatch2.bat
  11. Wpatch1.pif
  12. Wpatch2.pif

  15. Usage
  16. ============================================================================
  17. To use:
  18.  
  19.         From Windows95 - Double click on the "Wpatch1" or "Wpatch2"
  20.         file. 
  21.  
  22.         From Dos       - Either type "Wpatch1" or "Wpatch2"
  23.

  26. This patch will fix the lock up that has occured when specific older video
  27. drivers were used.  This patch disables the Hi-res mode that causes this
  28. lock up.
  29.  
  30. If the Wpatch1 file does not work, try the Wpatch2 file.  Wpatch2 disables 
  31. the high-res Interplay logo that has been identified to cause problems with 
  32. Certain video cards.
