  2. Hello, Journal Entry fans,
  3.  
  4. This is "The 'Unofficial' Chronological Listing of Journal Entries"
  5. (version dated 16 Dec 93) -- a comprehensive listing of Elf
  6. Sternberg's Journal Entry stories.  I believe that it is complete and
  7. accurate, but any corrections, additions, comments, etc. would be
  8. greatly appreciated.
  9.  
  10. Changes since last posting:
  11.   Non-JE novel called Aimee'
  12.  
  13. As discussed below, Elf has changed some of the Journal Entries'
  14. titles and dates over time.  Some "significant" alternative titles
  15. (e.g., "Remember" used to be "M'Bawr and P'raine") are included in a
  16. separate listing below.  "Minor" alternate titles are not dealt with
  17. (e.g., "A Day At Castle Rhysh" at one time was "A Day at the Castle").
  18.  Old JE Dates are not listed either.  The idea is to be able to
  19. identify duplicated or outdated Journal Entries.  (None of the Journal
  20. Entries have changed significantly enough over time to warrant keeping
  21. old version.)

  23. I no longer have direct access to the net (i.e., no ftp or new, just
  24. email), and therefore can no longer get JEs off of it myself.  I would
  25. like to maintain this listing (as well as get new JEs), so if any
  26. readers would be so kind as to send me new JEs (or even reposted JEs
  27. as I check them for changes to maintain a current archive), I could
  28. continue to provide this very small service to the net.  (I would also 
  29. be extremely grateful.)

  31. Currently, there is no archive site for the JEs, but if one becomes 
  32. available, I will post the information to the net.  (I used to be able
  33. to provide mailing services for the JEs, but am now restricted from 
  34. doing so.  Oh, well...)
  35.  
  36. Notes:
  37. 1)  I have seen references to a Journal Entry called "Spinning
  38. Amanda".  However, it does not exist.  Elf states that it was never
  39. released, and was lost due to a disk failure.

  47. The "Unofficial" Chronological Listing of Journal Entries -- 16 Dec 93

  49. The "Journal Entry ddd / yyyy" is converted into a yyyy.ddd file
  50. naming format by many people who archive the Entries.  Elf has
  51. occasionally "adjusted" the JE Dates on some stories for
  52. consistency sake.  The list below reflects the "currently"
  53. assigned JE Dates only.
  54.  
  55. Some Journal Entries are known by more than one title.  Elf puts
  56. the "title" for each story at the end of the Entry, and when
  57. posting them, usually puts the title on the 'Subject:' line.  The
  58. titles may have changed between (updated) postings; the subject
  59. line may have had a title different from that found at the end of
  60. the story; or two (or more) stories may have been combined under
  61. a single title.  Some "significant" alternate titles have been
  62. included in a sparate listing following the main listing below.
