  7. Sometimes she's a sleek black panther, 
  8.     graceful and lovely, 
  9.         gliding through the night.
  10. She's soft and seductive then, 
  11.     and makes me ache with longing.

  13. Sometimes she's a playful Persian cat,
  14.     frisky and feminine, 
  15.         frolicking through the day.  
  16. She's cute and clever then, 
  17.     and makes me laugh with joy. 
  18.  
  19. Sometimes she's a mangy alley cat,
  20.     cunning and quick, 
  21.         slinking through back yards.   
  22. She has no conscience then, 
  23.     and makes me cringe with despair.  
  24.  
  25. Sometimes she's a haughty lioness, 
  26.     proud and defiant, 
  27.         stalking the jungle for prey.
  28. She's strong and awesome then, 
  29.     and makes me throb with desire.
  30.  
  31. I have a Beast in me.  
  32.  
  33. Sometimes she creeps in subtly 
  34.     and seduces me.   
  35. Her scent wafts across my senses 
  36.     and I quiver with suppressed excitement.
  37.  
  38. Sometimes she springs from hiding
  39.     and attacks me.   
  40. Her scream cuts through my awareness
  41.     and I shudder with sudden overwhelming passion!
  42.  
  43. Sometimes she's just a kitten 
  44.     and I can control her,
  45. Even though she trembles 
  46.     under the touch of my restraining hand. 
  47.  
  48. But sometimes she's filled with strength
  49.     and overpowers me; 
  50. And I race to the safety 
  51.     of the mousehole in my cluttered soul. 
  52.  
  53. I have a Beast in me. 
  54.  
  55. Sometimes she toys with me, 
  56.     batting my soul back and forth
  57.         between her front paws, 
  58. Catching it by the tail 
  59.     at that precise instant 
  60.         in which it would have been free. 
  61.  
  62. Sometimes she burns me 
  63.     with flames so high and hot 
  64.         that she consumes me, 
  65. Leaving only scarlet embers 
  66.     and gray ashes 
  67.         in her wake. 
  68.  
  69. Sometimes she soothes me,
  70.     and sings to me softly, 
  71.         and caresses me, 
  72. Until I find relief 
  73.     from the fever 
  74.         and set her free. 
  75.  
  76. And sometimes.....
  77.  
  78. Sometimes she's Glorious 
  79.     and takes me with her 
  80.         to heights of ecstasy 
  81. Mere mortals could never conceive of.  
  82.  
  83. Sometimes...  oh, sometimes...
