  3. The new WADS for this CD are:
  4.  
  5. HELLDEAT.ZIP  -- The Hell of Deathmatch
  6. CASTDTH.ZIP   -- Castle of Death
  7. EUGENE.ZIP    -- Eugene
  8.  
  9. All of these files can be found in the \HERETIC directory on our CD. As 
  10. always, just copy the files into your HERETIC directory (or wherever you 
  11. installed the game).

  14. RUNNING WADS
  15. If you're wondering what to do with a Heretic WAD once you copy it into your 
  16. \HERETIC directory, here are a few tips.
  17.  
  18. There's usually a TXT file for you to read, and some even include a batch 
  19. file for loading the WAD. If you're left clueless, the standard procedure 
  20. is to type:    HERETIC -FILE WADNAME.WAD
  21.  
  22. * where HERETIC = your Heretic executable command
  23. * where -FILE = would appear just as it is 
  24. * where WADNAME.WAD = is the name of the WAD file you wish to load
  25.  
  26. i.e. If the WAD name is HELLDEAT.WAD, you'd type:  
  27. HERETIC -FILE HELLDEAT.WAD.

  29. This doesn't always work, they're just general guidelines. As with all WADS, 
  30. updates, add-ons or patches make sure your original files are backed up. PC 
  31. Gamer will not accept any responsibility for problems caused by these files.
