  1.                          Standings Help
  2.  
  3. While standard games are being played, the baseball
  4. standings appear on the screen, changing daily with the
  5. new results.
  6.  
  7. There are three column headings:
  8.  
  9. W: stands for wins.
  10.  
  11. L: means losses.
  12.  
  13. GB: is short for "games behind," which is the difference
  14.   in wins plus the difference in losses, divided by two.
  15.   In other words, this is the number games the team behind
  16.   would have to win and the team in front would have to
  17.   lose to have a tie.

  19. At the bottom is a single button:

  21. GAME SCORES: Click on 'game scores' to see the score of
  22.   each game as it comes in.

  26. Here, the results of standard games are displayed as they
  27. come in.

  29. At the bottom of the screen is a single button:

  31. STANDINGS: Click on 'standings' to display the baseball
  32.   standings.

  34.                       Playoff Results Help
  35.  
  36. When the playoffs begin, line scores of the individual
  37. games replace the baseball standings.  Here you can
  38. follow the playoffs as the games are being played.

  40. Next to each line score is a 'more' button.  Click on one
  41. of these to see the full box score for that game.  You may
  42. select 'more' while the playoffs are in progress (which
  43. will pause the playing of the games while you look at the
  44. box) or after they have been completed.

  46.                     Batting Box Score Help
  47.  
  48. This is a typical baseball box score for the game, batters
  49. only.  The hitters are listed according to the batting
  50. order of the game, with substitutions indented underneath
  51. the players they replaced.

  53. Along the bottom of the screen are six buttons:

  55. DONE: click here to leave the box score screen.

  57. SAVE: select 'save' to preserve this box as an "all time"
  58.   box score.  The program will save the box on the hard
  59.   disk so you can look at it later using "special box
  60.   scores" on the season menu.

  62. DELETE: the opposite of 'save,' 'delete' removes the box
  63.   from the all time box scores list.

  65. MORE: If the box score contains too many batters to fit on
  66.   the screen at once, click on 'more' to see the rest.

  68. SEE 'other team': click here to see the batters of the
  69.   other team.

  71. PITCHING: to see the pitching portion of the box score, as
  72.   well as the inning-by-inning line score, and the time
  73.   and attendance of the game, click on 'pitching.'

  78.   the printer, plus an extra "how they scored" section.

  80. F6: appends the box score, including a "how they scored"

  101.                     Pitching Box Score Help

  103. This is the pitching portion of the box score for the
  104. game.  The pitchers are listed in order of appearance.

  106. Additional game information is displayed below the players:

  108. WP: the winning pitcher
  109. LP: the losing pitcher
  110. SV: the pitcher who got the save (if any)
  111. TIME: how long it took to play the game
  112. ATTENDANCE: the attendance of the game
  113. PLAYED AT 'team name': where the game was played.  An
  114.   "(n)" means the game was a night game.
  115.  
  116. Near the bottom of the screen is an inning-by-inning line
  117. score of the game.  The visiting team is on top, home on
  118. the bottom.  If the game lasted more than 10 innings,
  119. only the last 10 are displayed.  The column abbreviations
  120. are "R" (runs), "H" (hits), and "E" (errors).
