Title : UM_DM17.PK4
Author : UltraMagnus
Email Address : blaine@bmbaker.net
Misc. Author Info : 1st map made since the ol' days (recognize this
readme format?)
Description : Conversion of Quake III Arena's Q3DM17 with some
visual improvements (but not many). Mostly just to
try to teach myself the editor, which isn't very
good and I suggest new users to skip straight to
www.qeradiant.com and grab that instead. D3Radiant
crashed over *50* times since I began making this
map, and it did so when being used by different
comps so I know I'm not crazy.

* Play Information *
Episode and Level # : UM_DM17
Single Player : No
Cooperative 2-4 Player : No
Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes, Should Work(TM) for all modes
Difficulty Settings : All
New Sounds : No
New Graphics : No
Demos Replaced : None
* Construction *
Base : Quake III DM17 (eyeballing it; nothing 100% precise)
Build Time : A lot more than it should have been; I'm switching to
GTKRadiant.
Editor(s) used : D3Radiant
Known Bugs : The loading screen doesn't show a progress bar, but
I have no idea why. The map loads pretty quickly
compared to the vanilla DM maps so I guess it doesn't
matter all that much. I guess I need to practice more
with the GUI format.
Additional Credits to : Whoever made the original Q3DM17; id Software for
coming to their senses and John carmack for sticking
it to ATI and Creative for their predatory practices
* Copyright / Permissions *
Authors may use this level as a base to build additional levels. I sure as hell
didn't ask permission to remake DM17. Judging by all the warnings this map incurs,
I'd suggest you not use this as a base however.
You MAY distribute this PK4, provided you include this file, with no
modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic format
(BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file intact.
