***This bundled version is currently not ready for XP support. Ulead is
currently working on a new patch and once it is ready, it will be released
in our utilities section of our web site. Until this patch is released,
technical support will only be provided for our PC-VCR. Clients wishing to
use 3rd party video applications at their discretion are free to do so. Any
problems that clients may encounter with 3rd party video applications are
welcome to use our video editing support forum in order to get help from
their fellow clients.***
New Features

- Replaced RGB templates in our PC-VCR remote by YUY2 full resolution. YUY2 at half resolution in our PC-VCR is not implimented becuase during our Direct Show driver development, we found several issues when capturing raw YUY2 file to disk with PC-VCR at resolutions less than Full D1. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve these issues. For this reason, YUY2 capture in PC-VCR is limited to Full D1. Please note that this does not affect our MPEG2 capture or our VFW (VidCap) capture drivers used with third party applications.
For anyone wanting to use YUY2 at half resolution at their own discretion,
we recommend that you use a 3rd party capture application as these
applications will access our vfw vidcap driver rather than our PC-VCR Dshow capture driver.
- New ligos package version has been included. This new version has a
feature where it will get updated when installing an editing application
which contains a new Ligos package. If in the future you install a new ligos
package from either Ligos standalone software or via 3rd party video
application plugin, it will also update our ligos package in our remote.
In this case, if you notice any issues with our mpeg2
captures/playback/timeshifting in our remote, you must contact either Ligos
or the vendor of the new package.
Notes
-----
- Video tools were not fully tested in Italian win98.
- Playback of clips may result the wrong video resolution. We recommend that
you uninstall Ulead Video Studio and our video tools, then install Ulead
Video Studio first and then install our video tools.
***This takes affect once Ulead provides the updated patch for WinXP.***
- During timeshifting, you may notice that the child captured files are not
deleted when more than 4G are reserved for Timeshifting. Hence, you may run out of hard disk space. We recommend that you manually delete these child files.
- The order of the named tv channels are not in alphabetical order.
- You may have to reboot after enabling Virtual Head in order to see video.
- YUY2 files do not go out to the tv in when in 32 bit color depth.
- DVD Max output freezes when the remote is minimized.
- Disabling DVD Max and reopening the remote will cause bad secondary(tv)
output. You have to reboot after disabling DVD Max.
- PC-VCR and Quick Connect may not open with multidisplay and DVD Max
enabled. We recommend that you disable either dvdmax or multi display while
running PC-VCR.
- You may experience corruption in PIP window with multidisplay and DVD Max
enabled. We recommend that you disable either dvdmax or multi display while
running PIP.
- Video window may display corruption when our remote is in 0.5x with
multidisplay and DVD Max enabled. We recommend that you disable either
dvdmax or multi display while running PC-VCR or lower your resolution to
