This file contains information for those kind souls amongst you who wish
to be beta tester for Rally Challenge.
PLEASE NOTE : This public release BETA demo DOES contain bugs.
We have released this beta so that we can get your feedback, and solve
any problems you might have before the game is finished. We've also
had alot of people asking for a demo, via our Web site. Below you will
find a list of known problems, and a 'form' which we would like you
to fill out and e-mail to us. You should also read the MANUAL.TXT file
before filling out your report, as your problem might not be a problem
after all.
Thanks for your help.

Known problems
--------------
If you receive an error message that says :
«Unable to set LLL
«Invalid Bank : bank "etc"
«Unable to set logical length error
You will need to run univbe 5.1 or 5.2 to enable hi-res mode.
Not implemented Yet:
Visual damage to cars, each car will have six points of damage and each will
effect the way in which the car handles. When repairing damage at the Service
Area, the bars around the car indicate body damage.
The texture mapping for the landscape and track has not been perspective
corrected yet. Because of that, it may warp from certain angles, especially
close to the viewpoint from inside the car. It will be fixed soon.
The serial communication is a bit on the faulty side. Any feedback about
serial linking would be appreciated. Note also that cars pass through
each other in multi-player mode. I haven't done the collision detection
yet. ( Collision detection will only be added for multi-player arcade mode,
because in real rallying, cars don't race against each other. They race
against the clock. )
Collision detection and responce to vehicle not fully implemented, ie vehicle
does not pitch and roll as it hits the landscape.
Optimization of hi-res code has not been fully finished.
Menu options that don't work properly yet (greyed out) :
- Playback : Not implemented
- Stage Details : Not implemented
- Network/Modem : Not implemented
- Championship mode : Not implemented
- Information : Only partially implemented. ( This bit will have flashy FMV )
