After message is send, proceed to step "05. Eudora Users".
Eudora - 2 - Notes is a migration utility that converts a user's Eudora messages into Lotus Notes 4.x/5.x format.
The following is an outline of the necessary steps to be taken to successfully migrate a user or group of users.
Each step is explained in detail in following documents.
* A Lotus Notes id and mail file must be created for the end user before this product can be used.
* Adequate disk space must#be available for the migration. A network directory can be used if necessary.
Mail administrator or Migration Team:
Step 1. Complete the settings document in Eudora-2-Notes database.
Step 2. Compose, address and send a migration message in Eudora-2-Notes to a user or group of users.
End user should perform the following steps: (An administrator can perform these steps
for the end user#if necessary)
Step 1: Open the migration message in Lotus Notes mail database.
Step 2: Press the <<Export>> button on
the migration message to perform the export process from Eudora.
Step 3: Return to the Lotus Notes migration message and press the
<<Import>> button.
NOTE:
In#case where Notes Client is installed without a NotesMail enabled,
Domino server is not accessible, or migration needs to be performed
to different database, Local Migration Document can be used.
It does not require sending the migration message.
Please refer to part: "04. Local Migration Document" in this help.

Here are the necessary steps to successfully migrate Organizer files to Notes Calendar & Schedule.
To migrate Organizer 2.1 file (*.or2) , you need to have Lotus Organizer 2.1 installed. For Organizer 97 files (*.or3), you need to have Lotus"Organizer 97.
For Organizer 97GS files (*.or4), you need to have Lotus Organizer 97GS. For Organizer 5 files (*.or5), you need to have Lotus Organizer 5.
Please do not try to open files with a wrong version of Organizer.
Step 1.
Settings document.
After installing this database on a Notes Server, the Notes Administrator should complete thb Settings Document in the database. Choose "SETTINGS" from the Navigator to create or edit Settings Document. You can specify Migration Administrators in the Settings document, as people who can only edit this document. If that field left blank, anyone can edit it.
Step 2.
Migration document.
ORG - 2 - Notes is an end-user migration tool. This means that every user must have his own migration document. To create a document, she or he must open migrarion database on his workspace, and press "Create or modify migration document" button.
Step 3.
Export of Organizer file.
To perform an export, you need to fill out the following fields in your migration document :
: path where Organizer files are installed (for example, "c:\lotus\organize"),
: name of your" Organizer file (for example, "c:\lotus\work\johndoe.or2"),
Username
: your username if you have a group scheduling installation (for example, "John Doe").
You can press a button to find a name of Organizer file.
Then you should press the "Export" button to begin the export. You will need to start the Organizer, if you have a Group Scheduling installation, before running the utility. If your file is password protected, you will be prompted to enter it. The progress windor will show the progress of the export. After successfully finishing the export, you will be prompted to proceed to the next step. If you have problems, or want to avoid starting Organizer and logging in, please do the following:
Install stand-alone Organizer (don't check "File server installation" box) on the mapped drive on the file server, give "Owner" rights by default to all organizer files you want to migrate, give "read-write" network access for everybody to that Organizer directory. Abter this choose "No Group Scheduling" in the Settings document, and point to that installation as Organizer directory.
Step 4.
Import into Notes databases.
Exported information from Organizer sections goes to the following places in Lotus Notes :
Calendar -> user's Mail database, as Appointments,
To Do -> user's Mail database, as Tasks,
Address -> local Name and Address book database ( "Names.nsf", on your lbcal machine, by default ),
Calls -> user's Mail database, as Tasks,
Planner -> user's Mail database, as Events,
Notepad -> Personal Journal database ( "Journal.nsf", on your local machine, by default ),
Anniversaries -> user's Mail database, as Anniversaries.
Before performing import, you need to specify the locations of the following databases:
