  8. TRANSMAC V3.4c INSTALLATION NOTES:
  9. TransMac uses a password system to unlock features available only to registered
  10. users. To enter your code, press the "Register" button in the lower right
  11. corner of the License Agreement window that appears upon starting TransMac.
  12. Enter your Name and Registration Code in the appropriate boxes and click "OK".
  13. Now read the License Agreement and click "Yes" if you agree to the terms. If
  14. you have entered your code in the setup program, this step is not necessary.

  16. The Configuration Utility can change startup options for TransMac. You can
  17. change which drives to access and the size of the IO buffer.
  18.  
  19. This is a 32 bit version of TransMac for Windows 95/98/NT. If you are running
  20. Windows 3.1/3.11, you will need to download the 16 bit version. See our web
  21. site at http://www.asy.com for more information.

  23. TIPS:
  24. Before you can copy files to a Mac disk you must select a Mac drive (from the
  25. "Mac Drive:" box) and open a volume (in the "Mac Files" list box).

  27. NOTE: Low density (400k/800k) Mac diskettes can not be read by PC floppy
  28. controllers, so they are not supported in TransMac.
  29.  
  30. If TransMac takes a long time to start up, try using the Configuration Utility
  31. to scan only the SCSI IDs you need. This should speed startup because only a
  32. few IDs will be scanned.
