  29. If you are mirroring to a partition or an NFS volume, you'll need to
  30. get everything under RedHat, as well as the disk images from images
  31. that you need for your system.

  34. INSTALLING
  35.  
  36. There are two separate boot images for booting your system; you will need
  37. one to boot your system into the Red Hat installation and upgrade process.
  38. For CDROM and hard drive installs, use the boot.img file (most Red Hat boxed
  39. sets include this floppy already; just boot it!). NFS, ftp, and http 
  40. installations requires the bootnet.img floppy, which is available in the
  41. images directory. In addition, installs which require a PCMCIA adapter (such
  42. as for PCMCIA CDROM or networking cards) need the pcmcia.img floppy.

  44. If you did not receive the necessary floppy disks with this product, the
  45. images for these disks are in the images directory. Either the rawrite
  46. program in the dosutils directory or 'dd' under any Unix like system can
  47. be used to transfer the image to physical floppies. Once the diskettes
  48. have been made, insert the boot disk and boot your machine.
