- NEOPAINT PALETTE OPTIMIZER
-
- ┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
- │ INTRODUCTION │
- └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- NEOPAL is a utility for NeoPaint. It'll read a PCX and create a .PAL file
- with the colors used in the picture. That way, you'll be able to add more
- colors to your graphic.
-
- ┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
- │ REQUIREMENTS │
- └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- NEOPAL requires MS-DOS v3.1+, 640K of base memory & obviously, the excellent
- software NeoPaint v3.0.
-
- ┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
- │ HOW TO USE │
- └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- To use the program, simply type "NEOPAL <filename>.PCX" at the DOS prompt.
- NEOPAL will then create a "<filename>.PAL". To use it, just run NeoPaint and
- load the wanted PCX file. After, you go into the PALETTE EDITOR menu item and
- load the new palette. When you'll exit the PALETTE EDITOR, you'll be asked
- "Do you want to adjust this image to match the new palette?". Answer 'Y'es,
- and you're done.
