- Installation if you choose to do so.
-
- =============================
- Duplicate Finder
- =============================
- The Duplicate Finder has a new Dialog Box since the User Guide was
- written. From the right frame, after all duplicates are displayed,
- if you select all files of a same name and choose to uninstall them,
- you will be prompted to select any or no files of the list to SAVE.
- This list will contain ALL FILES ON THE HARD DRIVE OF THE SAME NAME.
- Select the file to save and click OK.
-
- ============================
- Assistant
- ============================
- We have added an Assistant that will guide you, step by step through
- each procedure. Once you are comfortable with WinDelete 97's functions,
- you can select to hide the Assistant with the Hide button on the Dialog
- Box. To view it again, Select View|Assistant.
-

- ============================
- When using the Transport Manager to Transport files from one machine to
- another, please note the following. You can use a 3.5 or 5.25 inch
- floppy disk/drive as well as a Iomega (R) Jaz (R) or Zip drive. You can
- also put morethan one Transportable archive onto a single disk.
- WinDelete, however, will only put one WDsetup.exe onto the disk that
- can be used to Restore all of the archives.
-
- ============================
- Manually Stopping Agent
- ============================
- For installations of programs that start with a autorun or a multiple
- application install, it may be necessary to manually stop the Agent.
- Select the Agent in the Task bar and click on Inst...Monitor, Select
- the currently monitored process and click Stop.
-
- ============================
- Log File Removal
- ============================
- WinDelete will maintain the log of all archives created by WinDelete.
- Once you have removed the contents of the archive, the log itself can
- be removed by double clicking on the folder that it's in from the left
