  17. 1. What is Email Remover?
  18.  
  19. A small cute proram which helps user delete unwanted mails from 
  20. the server without having to download them.  It only 
  21. retrieves the mail headers and let user choose which mail 
  22. to delete.  It also allows user to preview the messages 
  23. and has the ability to launch an external Email Client upon exit.
  24. Email Remover uses a Wizard interface making extremely simple
  25. to operate.

  27. Email Remover is free, but if you find the software useful, 
  28. please register (also FREE) as I would like to keep track 
  29. of the number of people using it.    If you really like the

  35. Email remover 1.0 was initially designed for occasionaly used.
  36. Verion 1.1 extends its functionally making it useful even 
  37. for everyday use.

  39. Major enhancement includes
  40.  - Previewing of entire message contents
  41.  - Peeking into the message (viewing only first 100 lines)
  42.  - Launching an external email program upon exit
  43.  - Fewer clicks to complete the tasks.

  47.  - Settings are now saved in the Windows registry which allows 
  48.    multiple users with different profiles in Win95 to have different
  49.    configuration

  53.   Windows 95/NT
  54.   TCP/IP protocol (Winsock 1.1) - comes w/ Win95 or NT
  55.   Tested on 16MB, 486 machine
  56.   Diskspace requirement is below 500K

  58. 4. Installation/Uninstallation
  59.  
  60.   Below is the list of files included in the distribution

  62.   eremov11.exe       - self extracting program containg below files
  63.    |_ file_id.diz    - short description for uploading purpose
  64.    |_ readme.txt     - this file
  65.    |_ history.txt    - version changes
  66.    |_ eremove.exe    - the one & only executable

  68.   No installation is required.  Just run the self-extracting 
  69.   executable do extract the compress file to a selected directory.  
  70.   From the explorer, double click eremove.exe to run the program.
  71.   To create a short-cut on the desktop, drag the ermove.exe icon
  72.   to the desktop.

  74.   To uninstall the program, simply delete the whole subdirectory
  75.   containing the files described in the packing list above.

  77.   The program creates a registry entry in
  78.     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Virtual Network Inc\Email Remover\1.1.
  79.   You can delete it or leave it in system as it will cause no harm. 
  80.   Note that this version (1.1) does not use INI file any more.

  85.    I consider this program as  $0 shareware.  It is written 
  86.    in the best of my ability at my own leisure and fun.  
  87.    I am very proud to share this with everyone for non-commercial 
  88.    usage; however, I shall NOT be held liable for any damage 
  89.    directly or indirectly caused by use or misuse of this software.
