  6. * The April 1997 edition of PC Answers reviewed Dr Solomon's
  7.   Anti-Virus Toolkit for Windows 95.  They awarded Dr Solomon's
  8.   with the accolade of "Recommended" and said "Dr Solomon's is
  9.   a complete solution.. one of the best".
  10.  
  11. * The March 1997 issue of PC World magazine reviewed seven
  12.   anti-virus products for Windows 95 and Windows NT.  Dr
  13.   Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit found 100% of the viruses and
  14.   was described as "The clear leader in detecting and removing
  15.   just about any virus your PC is unlucky enough to catch".
  16.   Dr Solomon's was awarded the top accolade of "Best Buy"
  17.  
  18. * The March 1997 edition of PC Today conducted a comparative
  19.   review of Windows NT anti-virus software.  Dr Solomon's was
  20.   described as "the most robust of all the anti-virus packages
  21.   we tested", and was awarded with the top title of "Best Buy".

  23. * The University of Hamburg Virus Test Center conducted a
  24.   detailed comparative review of over 20 anti-virus products:

  26.   -  Dr Solomon's detected more viruses overall than any other product

  35. * The February 1997 edition of Windows Magazine reviewed
  36.   a selection of anti-virus products.  Dr Solomon's detected
  37.   and cleaned-up more viruses than any other product tested:
  38.   "No virus was safe from Dr Solomon's WinGuard, which intercepted
  39.   every one tested.. WinGuard also successfully intercepted
  40.   attempts to send or receive infected e-mail attachments...

  43. * The February 1997 edition of What PC? reviewed Dr Solomon's
  44.   Anti-Virus Toolkit for Windows 95 describing it as "a top
  45.   performer. It can check inside the widest range of compressed
  46.   file formats, making it an excellent product for internet
  47.   users.. worth its weight in gold".  Dr Solomon's was awarded
  48.   with the title "Recommended" and achieved top score in the
  49.   virus detection test.

  51. * The January 1997 edition of OS/2 e-Zine! reviewed Dr Solomon's
  52.   Anti-Virus Toolkit for OS/2, praising its PM interface, its
  53.   ability to detect OS/2 viruses, and that it was "truly 32-bit".
  54.   The reviewer commented that "Searching for viruses is very
  55.   quick compared to the other programs and seems to be extremely
  56.   effective... The manual is so good I have actually been offered
  57.   $50 for it; I refused."

  59. * The January 1997 edition of Secure Computing conducted an
  60.   in-depth comparative review of 15 anti-virus products.  Dr
  61.   Solomon's performed better than any other product and won
  62.   the top accolade of "Best Buy": "Another world-beating
  63.   performance keeps this product as the up-front leader of
  64.   the pack - the one the rest have to beat... Dr Solomon's
  65.   Toolkit is far and away the best virus detector".

  76. * In December 1996 Secure Computing Magazine announced that
  77.   Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkits for Windows 3.x, Windows 95,
  78.   Windows NT, Novell NetWare, and OS/2 had received the high
  79.   accolade of certification under Secure Computing's Checkmark
  80.   scheme.  With a Checkmark awarded in each of the five tested
  81.   categories, Dr Solomon's Software received more than any other
  82.   anti-virus company.

  84.   "By gaining the Secure Computing Checkmark, Dr Solomon's Software
  85.   puts clear blue water between themselves and all un-Checkmarked
  86.   anti-virus products," said Paul Robinson, editorial director of
  87.   Secure Computing Magazine. "This level of commitment and the high

  89.   indicator of Dr Solomon's Software technical excellence."

  91. * The December 1996 edition of MacWorld reviewed Dr Solomon's
  92.   Anti-Virus Toolkit for Apple Macintosh: "Dr Solomon's
  93.   Anti-Virus Toolkit's ability to check DOS disks is a real plus
  94.   in this cross-platform world".

  96. * The December 1996 edition of LAN Magazine reviewed Dr Solomon's
  97.   Anti-Virus Toolkit for NetWare and Windows NT: "There is no
  98.   disputing the pedigree of this product.. the pedigree earned by
  99.   consistently excellent virus detection performance and a
  100.   reputation for immunity to false positives makes this a reliable
  101.   workhorse for anyone looking for serious virus protection".

  103. * The Christmas 1996 supplement contained within What PC? contained
  104.   an anti-virus review.  Dr Solomon's won top marks and was awarded
  105.   with Editor's Choice.

  107. * The December 1996 edition of PC Format recommended Dr Solomon's
  108.   Anti-Virus Toolkit over anti-virus products in its review of
  109.   top utilities: "Excellent virus removal software and other useful
  110.   tools for both recovery and insurance".

  112. * The Autumn 1996 edition of Business Continuity contained a feature
  113.   on Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit, describing it as "universally
  114.   acclaimed as a world leader in virus detection and repair".

  116. * Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit was awarded with the title of
  117.   "Recommended" in Secure Computing's November 1996 macro virus test:
  118.   "This excellent and attractive product is one of the consistently
  119.   high scoring anti-virus products in our tests".

  121. * The November 1996 edition of What PC? conducted a comparative review
  122.   of Windows 95 anti-virus products, with Dr Solomon's coming out in
  123.   top position:  "Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit enjoys an enviable
  124.   reputation worldwide as one of the leading virus scanners.
  125.   Independent tests show that it is consistently one of the best
  126.   performers at detecting and identifying viruses... the Toolkit can
  127.   check a wider range of [compressed file] formats than any other
  128.   product... included in the price is access to Dr Solomon's legendary
  129.   technical support".  The review concluded: "For the single user this
  130.   is quite an expensive investment but it is, indisputably, the best".

  132. * The October 1996 edition of Virus Bulletin conducted a comparative
  133.   review of thirteen Windows NT anti-virus products.  Dr Solomon's scored
  134.   100% in the in-the-wild and polymorphic tests, an achievement matched
  135.   by only one other product in the test.  Virus Bulletin praised
  136.   the Toolkit's speed of scanning and described its detection rate as
  137.   "very impressive".

  139. * The Yorkshire Post reviewed Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit on
  140.   October 29th: "It's amazing what protection you get".
  141.  
  142. * The September 1996 edition of PC LAN conducted a comparative review
  143.   of six anti-virus products for Novell NetWare and Windows NT.  Dr
  144.   Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit detected more viruses than any other
  145.   product.

  147. * The August 13th 1996 edition of the Daily Telegraph examined half
  148.   a dozen anti-virus products with Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit
  149.   coming top with the highest score.

  151. * The August 1996 edition of Network Computing magazine printed the
  152.   results of its "Readers Choice Awards, 1996".  Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus
  153.   Toolkit beat a number of other anti-virus products to take top place
  154.   in the anti-virus category.

  156. * In the Summer of 1996 the University of Tampere conducted a comparative
  157.   anti-virus test.  The University's test compared results for Dr Solomon's,
  158.   and products from McAfee, Symantec (Norton), F-PROT, IBM, Microsoft
  159.   and many others. Of the 13 scanners tested, only Dr Solomon's showed a
  160.   100% detection rate for DOS, Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 "on-demand"
  161.   scanners. For DOS and Windows background scanners, which are memory
  162.   resident and constantly monitor for viruses without user intervention,
  163.   Dr Solomon's products were clearly superior versus the competition.

  165. * The June 1996 edition of Virus Bulletin tested Dr Solomon's
  166.   Anti-Virus Toolkit for Windows 95: "All round, an excellent
  167.   performance from the Toolkit".

  169. * The May 1996 edition of Virus Bulletin conducted a comparative test
  170.   of anti-virus products' ability to deal with macro viruses.  Dr
  171.   Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit scored full marks (100 per cent) in all
  172.   tests - detection, clean-up, and interception.  Virus Bulletin
  173.   described it as "An impressive performance.. especially notable for
  174.   good removal and memory-resident features".

  176. * The May 1996 edition of Secure Computing conducted an exhaustive
  177.   comparative review of Windows 95 anti-virus products.  Dr Solomon's
  178.   Anti-Virus Toolkit was awarded "Editor's Choice" and described as
  179.   "The best overall anti-virus product".

  181. * The April 1996 edition of Micro Mart reviewed Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus
  182.   Toolkit for Windows 95: "The Toolkit is a cocktail of remedies
  183.   to prevent, detect and repair the effects of virus attack".

  185. * The April 5 issue of PC Computing tested a range of different
  186.   Windows 95 anti-virus software, with Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit
  187.   receiving the highest recommendation.

  189. * The April 3 issue of PC User conducted a comparative review of
  190.   Windows 95 anti-virus software concluding: "If you want to
  191.   customise everything easily and feel secure about what's happening
  192.   behind the scenes, then Dr Solomon's is the product for you."

  194. * The April 1996 edition of Network Computing reviewed Dr Solomon's
  195.   Anti-Virus Toolkit for NetWare describing it as having "won more
  196.   awards than I care to remember.  The product was one of the first
  197.   of its kind and a continual update process has seen it maintain 
  198.   its position".

  200. * The March 1996 edition of Windows Plus magazine reviewed Dr
  201.   Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit for Windows 95 describing it as
  202.   "a best seller and regular award winner for years.. Dr Solomon's
  203.   is among the very best.. it's a must".  The magazine awarded the
  204.   Toolkit the title of "Windows Plus Best Buy".

  206. * The March 1996 edition of What PC? conducted a comprehensive 
  207.   comparative review of Windows 95 anti-virus products with
  208.   Dr Solomon's winning the top accolade of "Best Buy": "Our
  209.   top recommendation has to go to Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit.
  210.   This was the only product, besides Sweep, to detect every virus.
  211.   But, as well as first-class virus detection it provides full 
  212.   protection under both Windows and DOS, a repair facility, and

  220. * The February 7 1996 edition of PC User conducted a comparative review
  221.   of network anti-virus products.  Dr Solomon's for NetWare, Windows NT,
  222.   and Windows 95 beat all other products winning the top accolade of 
  223.   "Recommended":  "The best product for overall virus detection was
  224.   Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit.  It's a good, large-scale solution
  225.   with virtually identical interfaces across all platforms".

  228.   Toolkit for Windows 95 and detected all the viruses it was tested
  229.   against.  The review concluded: "An excellent anti-virus product

  231.   should check it out".

  234.   Toolkit for Windows 95 describing it as "one of the leading virus

  247.   comparative review of over 20 anti-virus products.  Dr Solomon's
  248.   Anti-Virus Toolkit detected more viruses than any other product winning

  250.   again turned in immaculate scanning performances this year.  Its features
  251.   and high quality support make this a worthy Editor's Choice".
