  1. Installing the 30 day time trial of the NetWare Web Server
  2.  
  3. The NetWare Web Server requires that the TCPIP NLM be loaded and configured
  4. on your NetWare Server.  The NetWare Web Server requires NetWare 4.1.
  5.  
  6. 1. Create a directory on your NetWare file server, for example: sys:webinst
  7.  
  8. 2. Copy the file WEB30DAY.EXE into this directory.
  9.  
  10. 3. From this directory, type the command: WEB30DAY.EXE -D
  11.  
  12. 4. From the NetWare console, load the Install NLM by typing: LOAD INSTALL
  13.  
  14. 5. Select Product options from the menu.
  15.  
  16. 6. Select "Install a product not listed"
  17.  
  18. 7. Press F3 and type in the name of the path, for example:
  19. sys:\webinst\disk1 if you used the directory name as in the example in 
  20. step 1 (make sure you remove the "a:\" before typing in the new path).

  22. 8. Follow the installation screen instructions.  The NetWare Web
  23. Server will automatically load after installation is complete.

  25. Please refer to the online help contained within the NetWare Web Server
  26. administration tool.  This Windows-based tool can be found in your
  27. server's public directory and is named; WEBMGR.EXE.

  29. Please also refer to the README.TXT file within the DISK1 directory for
  30. more information on installation and configuration.

  32. For optimal performace, set your maximum packet receive buffers on your
  33. NetWare server to 1000 by typing the following at the server console
  34. prompt: SET MAXIMUM PACKET RECEIVE BUFFERS = 1000
  35.  
  36. When installing the commercial product, please remember to save any
  37. custom HTML files you have created.

  39. Novell does not support NetWare Web Server 30 day time trial edition users.
