  8. When your internal modem jams, there's not much you can do except turn  off 
  9. your computer. That is, unless you have Comset, a cheap, functional  
  10. program that does nothing more than give your modem a swift kick in the port 
  11. -  or at least a hardware and software reset. I use Comset from a DOS 
  12. window,  and I wouldn't be without it. Comset costs $10. Hank Volpe,
