  5. What is MainActor:

  8. MainActor is  a modular multimedia  processing package.
  9. You  can load,  edit, play  and create  / convert  many
  10. animation and picture formats.
  11.  
  12. MainActor is available for OS/2 and Windows 95 / NT.
  13.  
  14. A full featured sequencer with  audio and video effects
  15. is in preparation.
  16.  
  17. The shareware version of MainActor is fully functional,
  18. you  will  have  to  deal  with  an  annoying requester
  19. though.
  20.  
  21. The requester appears
  22.  
  23. * at startup for 5 seconds
  24. * when openening the save window for 5 seconds
  25. * after saving every tenth frame for 2 seconds
  26.  
  27. Please register  MainActor if you  use it on  a regular
  28. basis.  Use  beyond  a  31  day  evaluation  period  is
  29. prohibited without registration.

  33. ATTENTION: MainActor requires  DirectX for its playback
  34. capabilities.  If you  do not  have DirectX  installed,
  35. MainActor / MainView will not start up!
