  17. The following files represent the VB4 Runtime Module
  18. and MUST be in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory:

  24. If you do not have these files, they can be obtained from the
  25. CT Software Home Page. Please feel free to visit this WEB site,
  26. as it will allow access to the very latest version of all of the shareware 
  27. offered by CT Software, in addition to offering links to other excellent 
  28. shareware programs. The URL is "http://members.aol.com/ron2222".

  30. To install the program, you MUST run the file SETUP.EXE.
  31. This will register the OCX files, and create a folder and shortcut
  32. for Notebook.
  33.  
  34. There is one and only one point to this program - to replace Notepad. 
  35. Notebook is not a word processor. It's sole purpose is to view and 
  36. edit text files. It does have 6 major features (and several minor ones) 
  37. which we believe make up for Notepad's inadequacies:
  38.  
  39. (1). It will open VERY large files, and allow you to edit them. We
  40.      have successfully opened, edited, and saved files in excess
  41.      of 2.5 Megabytes!
  42. (2). It features full font control - you can set the font name, style, 
  43.      size, and color, and your settings will be saved when you exit 
  44.      the program. It will look better on your screen, and do a much 
  45.      better job of printing. 
  46. (3). Notebook has a toolbar complete with help balloons. 
  47. (4). Notebook features DRAG AND DROP text editing. If you want 
  48.      to move a block of text, just use the mouse to select it, and 
  49.      drag it to where you want it.
  50. (5). Notebook supports "overtype" mode. While the default editing 
  51.      mode is "insert", hitting the INSERT key on your keyboard will
  52.      change that to "overtype".
  53. (6). Notebook can both print and/or save to a file SELECTED text
  54.      only, if desired.

  56. To take advantage of this program, we recommend that you 
  57. associate .TXT and .INI files with Notebook in Explorer. 
  58.
