  75.  IV.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  76.       1. Format two 1.44 MB (High Density) blank diskette and
  77.          lable them disk1 and disk2. Insert disk1 into the A:
  78.          drive of your PC.
  79.  
  80.       2. If you have installed a previous version of this driver
  81.          you should go to the Lexmark Colorjetprinter 3000 folder
  82.          and run the uninstall program by double clicking on the
  83.          uninstall icon. and then restart Windows.

  86.       3. If you are running Windows 95, skip to step 5.  If you
  87.      are running Windows 3.1 or 3.11, click File, Run, and 
  88.      enter RUNME.BAT preceded by the directory that contains 
  89.      the driver file you just downloaded.  (Example: 
  90.          C:\CJ3000\RUNME.BAT).  When prompted remove disk1 and
  91.          insert disk2.  The complete driver and installation
  92.          program will be copied to the diskettes in your A: drive.

  94.       4. Windows 3.x:  Insert disk1 and Click File, Run, and enter
  95.          a:\setup.  When prompted remove disk1 and insert disk2.
  96.          The driver files will be installed on your system. Enter
  97.          the appropriate printer port when prompted, then skip to
  98.          step 7.

  100.       5. Windows 95: Insert the first disk and click Start, Run
  101.          and enter RUNME.BAT preceded by the directory that contains
  102.          the driver file you just downloaded.  (Example:
  103.          C:\CJ3000\RUNME.BAT).  When prompted remove disk1 and insert
  104.          disk2.  The complete the driver and installation
  105.          program will be copied to the diskettes in your A: drive.

  107.       6. Windows 95:  Insert disk1 into A:, Click Start, Run, and
  108.          enter a:\setup.  When propted remove disk1 and insert disk2
  109.          The driver files will be installed on your system.  Enter 
  110.      the appropriate printer port when prompted.

  112.       7. You should Restart Windows for the driver update to take
  113.      effect. After you have verified that the driver is 
  114.      installed and working properly, you may want to erase
  115.          the files that you originally downloaded - CJWN3MLE.EXE,
  116.          CJ3000D1.EXE, CJ3000D2.EXE, RUNME.BAT.

  118.       8. Click on the Readme icon in the Lexmark  3000 Series group
  119.          for more information on your printer.
