  82.  IV.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  83.       1. Format two 1.44 MB (High Density) blank diskette and
  84.          lable them disk1 and disk2. Insert disk1 into the A:
  85.          drive of your PC.
  86.  
  87.       2. If you have installed a previous version of this driver
  88.          you should go to the Lexmark Colorjetprinter 2050 folder
  89.          and run the uninstall program by double clicking on the
  90.          uninstall icon. and then restart Windows.
  91.

  93.       3. If you are running Windows 95, skip to step 5.  If you
  94.      are running Windows 3.1 or 3.11, click File, Run, and 
  95.      enter RUNME.BAT preceded by the directory that contains 
  96.      the driver file you just downloaded.  (Example: 
  97.          C:\CJ2050\RUNME.BAT).  When prompted remove disk1 and
  98.          insert disk2.  The complete driver and installation
  99.          program will be copied to the diskettes in your A: drive.

  101.       4. Windows 3.x:  Insert disk1 and Click File, Run, and enter
  102.          a:\setup.  When prompted remove disk1 and insert disk2.
  103.          The driver files will be installed on your system. Enter
  104.          the appropriate printer port when prompted, then skip to
  105.          step 7.

  107.       5. Windows 95: Insert the first disk and click Start, Run
  108.          and enter RUNME.BAT preceded by the directory that contains
  109.          the driver file you just downloaded.  (Example:
  110.          C:\CJ2050\RUNME.BAT).  When prompted remove disk1 and insert
  111.          disk2.  The complete the driver and installation
  112.          program will be copied to the diskettes in your A: drive.

  114.       6. Windows 95:  Insert disk1 into A:, Click Start, Run, and
  115.          enter a:\setup.  When propted removed disk1 and insert disk2
  116.          The driver files will be installed on your system.  Enter 
  117.      the appropriate printer port when prompted.

  119.       7. You should Restart Windows for the driver update to take
  120.      effect. After you have verified that the driver is 
  121.      installed and working properly, you may want to erase
  122.          the files that you originally downloaded - CJ2050WE.EXE,
  123.          CJ2050D1.EXE, CJ2050D2.EXE, RUNME.BAT.

  125.       8. Click on the Readme icon in the Lexmark  2050 Series group
  126.          for more information on your printer.
