  3. What is WINCOIN?
  4.  
  5. WINCOIN is a Windows application that tracks coin inventory, on
  6. orders, wants and buys.  Over 90 category types (ie. Indian
  7. cents), including grading information, history and ability for
  8. notes, are included.  Coin Master List for category types
  9. includes all years and varieties for Large Cents to Gold coins
  10. and commemmoratives over 4300 coins in all.  Optional import file
  11. for Canadian categories and coins.

  13. WINCOIN features include:

  15. Data bases for Categories (ie. Cents, Nickels) and Category Types
  16. (Buffalo nickels, Jefferson nickels) are provided and are user
  17. modifiable for new issues.
  18.  
  19. Category Types include grading information, history, and type notes.
  20. Category Types can be resequenced to keep new issues in the proper
  21. order.

  23. Master Coin data bases for each Category Type can include all US coins
  24. and can even be set up to handle foreign coins if desired.  All
  25. varieties can be maintained.  Newly found varieties of older coins can
  26. be entered and put into their proper position in the master coin
  27. list.

  29. Grading Templates can be set up by Category Type.  This allows grading
  30. schemes to be customized to suit the way you like to collect your
  31. coins.  Only those grades established for each Category Type are
  32. displayed on the panels and reports.  New grades can easily be added
  33. and placed in the proper sequence.

  35. Coin Maintenance panel provides for current inventory as well as On
  36. Orders and Wants.  Text can be associated with any coin, if desired.
  37. A FAST ADD feature allows for easy conversion of current inventory.

  39. Reporting capabilities include on line and printed.  Current inventory
  40. reports, wants, orders can all be printed.  Standard version report
  41. are available on-line and as printed reports.  Many options can be set
  42. to customize the reports.  Auto want report available.

  44. Report writer available to customize reports and record selection.

  46. Positions for grades which do not exist are blacked-out, so at a
  47. glance you can see which coins you need to complete your collection.

  49. Capability for notes to be entered into the system.  Eliminate all
  50. those pieces of paper and have the information at your fingertips.

  52. Prices for coins can be kept in the system.  A price report is
  53. available.

  55. This is a shareware program and once registered , all future
  56. updates to the program can be used without additional registration
  57. costs.

  68. STARTING WINCOIN
  69.  
  70. To start WINCOIN, you can simply double-click on
  71. WINCOIN.EXE from the Windows File Manager, or define a new
  72. program item in the Program Manager. Once started, you can
  73. select HELP from the menu bar and gain access to all information
  74. for this program.

  77. WINCOIN is Shareware, and a registration fee of $29.00 is
  78. required if used past the 30-day evaluation period. When payment
  79. is received you will receive a serialization number which you
  80. can enter in the program.  This will eliminate any future shareware
  81. messages.  Also you will receive a file with all remaining Master
  82. Coin Lists which you can load into your system via the Import
  83. function.  All future WINCOIN.EXE files will be valid with your
  84. serial number.
