  138. Windows NT 3.5x display drivers installation:

  141. 1. Select Control Panel from the Main group.
  142. 2. Select the Display icon.
  143. 3. Select Change Display Type.
  144. 4. Select Change from the Adapter Type area.
  145. 5. Select Other.
  146. 6. Place the Windows NT 3.5x Installation Disk into Drive A.
  147. 7. In the Models window it will display "Cirrus Logic's 754x 8/16 bpp".
  148. 8. Select Install and click "Yes" when the Installing Driver dialog box 
  149.    appears.
  150. 9. When the Windows NT Setup dialog box appears, select drive A, and click 
  151.    "Continue".
  152.  
  153. A message will appear stating that the drivers were successfully installed.  
  154. Click "OK".  You must now restart Windows NT 3.5x.

  157. Selecting resolution and color depth:
  158. ====================================

  160. 1. Select Control Panel from the Main group.
  161. 2. Select Display icon.
  162. 3. Select Color Palette to change between 16/256/64K colors.
  163. 4. To select desktop resolution size, go to the Desktop area and use the 
  164.    slide bar to change resolution from 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, and 
  165.    1280x1024.
  166. 5. Select Test to test the resolution.  If the display test screen was good 
  167.    then select "Yes" when the Test Mode dialog box appears.  If the display 
  168.    test screen was bad then select "No".  Windows NT will give you an error
  169.    message.
  170. 6. If the display screen was good and you selected "Yes", Windows NT 3.5x will
  171.    prompt you to restart Windows NT 3.5x.
