  9. To install WhereIsIt? on your computer, run the SETUP.EXE file and follow 
  10. the on-screen instructions. No additional actions are required, unless
  11. in rare cases where you need to update the COMCTL32.DLL system library
  12. (see below for details).

  15. DE-INSTALLATION

  18. You can un-install WhereIsIt? from your computer by choosing "Add/Remove
  19. Programs" option in Control Panel, and double-clicking WhereIsIt?'s entry.
  20. Alternatively, you can use the Uninstall WhereIsIt icon in WhereIsIt's
  21. Start menu program group, if one was created during installation.

  24. INSTALL TROUBLESHOOTING

  27. WhereIsIt? needs to have COMCTL32.DLL updated to version 5.00.2614.3600 or 
  28. newer in order to run properly. As updating this system library is rarely
  29. needed nowdays, WhereIsIt no longer ships with this update included in the
  30. download package, but it can be downloaded separately if required. 
  31. WhereIsIt's setup program will check if COMCTL32.DLL needs to be updated; 
  32. if so, it will not allow installation to proceed until update is successfully 
  33. in place.

  35. If you need to update your COMCTL32.DLL library, Microsoft provides update
  36. installation package, which can be downloaded either directly from Microsoft, 
  37. or from WhereIsIt's home page:

  44. To update, just run the downloaded 50COMCTL.EXE update file, and reboot 
  45. computer when so requested.
