- Welcome to EOS Image Manager!
- =============================================================================
-
- - USING THE VIEWER
- . Select an image using the file browser on the left side of the window.
- . Both image files and folders can be selected.
- . Double-click an image name to edit it in place.
- . Right-click/control-click on a folder and select "Rename Folder" for renaming.
- . Select multiple images and choose the "Rename" option from the Tools menu to
- initiate the Bulk File Renaming feature.
-
- Additional Keyboard Shortcuts:
- . Press <Return> or <Enter> while a filename is selected to edit its name.
- . Press <Tab> or <Shift>+<Tab> to move Forward or Backward in edit mode.
- . Press <Home> or <End> to quickly reach the Top or Bottom of the file browser.
-
- - USING THE SLIDE SHOW
- . Navigate to the directory containing the images you wish to include
- in the slide show using the file browser on the left side of the window.
- . Choose the "Start Slide Show" option from the Tools menu.
- . Type <Command>+<.> (the "Apple key" and ".") to stop the slide show at any time.
-
- - USING THE FILE MANAGER
- . To use the file manager you must have at least one item selected in
- the file browser (on the left side), and a target folder selected
- (using the table checkboxes) in the File Manager tab.
- . Selecting a target (destination) folder:
- 1) Use the file browser contained in the File Manager tab to navigate to
- the directory containing the folder you wish to move/copy images to.
- 2) Click the checkbox in the first column of the file browser next to the
- folder you wish to selected for file operations.
- 3) Choose the Move/Copy button (or menu/toolbar item) to operate on your
- selected item(s).
-
- - USING THE THUMBNAILS
- . Images shown in the file browser can be thumbnailed via the application "Tools" menu or using the contextual-menu (right/control-click).
- . Once thumbnails have been created, 3 operations on them are possible via a contextual-menu: Move/Copy/Delete selected images.
- . Selections in the Thumbnails Tab will be synced automatically to the corresponding filename in the file browser.
- . The thumbnails being shown will also auto-update to reflect changes in the file browser, such as double-click file renaming.
- . If the "Rename..." function is used, the thumbnails being shown will be cleared (as of the 0.9 release).
- . TIP: Click-and-drag is the BEST way to select a group of thumbnails (i.e.: click on any thumbnail, then drag in any direction).
-
-
- - ACCESSING EXTERNAL DEVICES (Removable Media, CD's, etc.)
- . External devices can be found in the "Volumes" folder at the base
- directory.
- . The base directory is the top level directory (just keep selecting "..")
-
-
- - SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- . EOS Image Manager requires Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) or higher.
