  9. Please uninstall any previous version's of TapRight from your device 
  10. before proceeding. (Quit TapRight from the pop-up menu before removing).

  13. WHATS NEW
  14. =========

  16. The much requested addition  -  PocketPC devices now supported!
  17.  
  18. User's of the Pocket PC can use TapRight to open new internet explorer pages
  19. by using TapRight to click on a link. 
  20.  
  21. Since the system tray is not visible on the PocketPC (except on the today
  22. screen) it is not possible to click on the TapRight icon to activate/deactivate
  23. TapRight. But, TapRight can now be _assigned to a hardware button_. Pressing the
  24. hardware button will toggle TapRight.
  25.  
  26. Assigning TapRight to a hardware button varies between different Pocket PC's,
  27. but it is usually performed in the Settings control panel.

  33. Compatible Devices

  36.  TapRight 1.3 supports the following platforms:

  38.    - MIPS,SH3,SH4 & ARM CPU versions of Microsoft WindowsCE HPC, HPC/Pro,
  39.      PS/PC and PocketPC devices. (At this time that is all 2.x / 3.x CE devices)

  42. Trouble Shooting
  43. ================

  45.    - Installer
  46.  
  47.      Having problems with the installer? You can manually install
  48.      the CAB files following these steps:
  49.  
  50.      1. Create a TapRight directory under your CE Services folder
  51.  
  52.      2. Copy the files from the ZIP archive into it:
  53.  
  54.         TapRight.mips.cab
  55.         TapRight.sh3.cab
  56.         TapRight.sh4.cab
  57.         TapRight.arm.cab
  58.         TapRight.ini
  59.         readme.txt
  60.  
  61.      3. Open up a DOS shell, and change to that directory
  62.  
  63.      4. Run the CEAppMgr with the TapRight.ini file as a paramater 
  64.  
  65.         NOTE: Both CEAppMgr and the INI file _MUST_ include the full path
  66.  
  67.         eg: c:\program files\Windows CE Services\CEAppMgr.exe 
  68.              c:\program files\Windows CE Services\TapRight\TapRight.ini
  69.  
  70.      5. The CEAppMgr should now startup and install TapRight on to your
  71.         device.
