especially on bad CD readers. This feature also
allows to create perfect copies from 1:1 copies

details

History of Generic Safedisc Emulator releases:

target application in case it was incorrectly
specified! You may select shortcut files too.
Shortcuts may be automatically updated with path
to emulator
- Safedisc emulation optimized - all C-Dilla checks
for bad sectors are skipped (simulated) - no physical
access to CDROM, faster loading
- Rayman2 fixed - earlier versions worked only if
rayman2.exe was specified on the command line, but
not Ubisetup.exe
V5.1 (March,20,2000) - Full Windows 2000 support for latest C-Dilla loader -
it uses additional API functions in W2K
- 'Might and Magic VII' support fixed.
- Startup code corrected to allow running 'safedisc'
without specifying '.exe' extension (thanks go to
Antranig Basman)
V5.0 (March,09,2000) - Yes, new major version indeed! Almost all code has
been rewritten to comply with new ideology
- Emulation is now supported on processes that were
spawned by the target application
- HalfLife Opposing Force was a big pain in the ass -
now it runs from backup like hell...;-)
V4.1 (March,06,2000) - Universal support for new C-Dilla (Age Of Empires,
Unreal Tournament etc.)
V4.0 (March,03,2000) - The first official release after many "internal"
versions
