  1. PROGRAM :       Cyber-Info E-Mail Notify

  3. FILENAME:    CIECHECK.ZIP

  5. DESCR:        Cyber-Info E-Mail Notify is an e-mail
  6.         notification utility that can check multiple accounts for
  7.         new mail and optionally delete spam. A pop up
  8.         message with sound lets you know that mail has
  9.         arrived, or you can use various visual effects. You can
  10.         launch an external mail reader or quickly view, delete
  11.         and send e-mail without having to load your full e-mail
  12.         package. HTML-formatted mail can be viewed and
  13.         there are a variety of spam filtering options available.
  14.                 You can also send Internet faxes. Quick launch of quick
  15.                 mail by pressing <F11> and quick check by pressing
  16.         <F12> or double click tray-icon are added ! Some utilities
  17.         are added including restart or shutdown windows, hide desktop
  18.         or taskbar and display system information etc. Internet
  19.         utilities including get IP address(es) and launch microsoft
  20.         dial-up networking.

  23.         Scroll-Locks and Notification wallpaper. Specified Time Mail

  112. In POP3 server options, input your POP3 server, username and password.

  138. If you want to get mail from Hotmail, Yahoo Mail or Excite Mail by using your
  139. own email client program, you should do the following :

  141. 1. Add account as above. 
  142. 2. Select Web-POP gateway port in Webmail option. 
  143.    (default is 110, change to other e.g. 888, if other program already used it)
  144. 3. Inside your email client program,
  145.         add a POP3 server : 127.0.0.1 (port should be the same in 2)
  146.         add a user name : xxxxx#hotmail (Hotmail)
  147.               xxxxx#iexcite (Excite Inbox)
  148.         enter the passord for that account.

  150. Example : Suppose your account in Hotmail is   peter@hotmail.com
  151.           Then you should add a POP3 server : 127.0.0.1 with user name peter#hotmail
