Thank you for having downloaded our "Arajah Menu Effects".
Now that you have installed all the files in your choosen directory, you have to launch
Index2.htm.
The classes, examples and template files are in yourdirectory\Java\VisualMenuBar\
here you will find 3 subdirectories :
- MenuAlone : here,you will find the classes,examples and the template file to use the menu and the news scrolltext without the effects.
- MenuEffects : here,you will find the classes, examples and the template file to use the menu and the news scrolltext with each of the effects.
- ScrollAlone : here, there are the classes,examples and the template file to use the news scrolltext only.
You can display these applets on your web page for free. Unregistered versions will display links to our site and links in the scrolltext are desactivated. The registered version do not display any link to our site and links in the scrolltext works.
If you don't know how to configure java applets :
It is very simple to use our applets into your web page : just open the template file and cut & paste the html code into your own after the <body tag (in the beginning of your page). You can access the html code of your web page with a html editor or just open it with a text editor like notepad under windows. Then edit the values you wish in the parameters. All these values are described into the example page for each applet. If you have done your web site with a site editor (like Dreamweaver, FrontPage..), look for the keywords "java applet" in the documentation to know how to add java applets by this way. For example, if you use Dreamweaver, choose in the menu "insert", "media", "applet". Load the main class file. Change the width and the height of your applet as you wish and place it where you want on your page. Then, right click with your mouse on the applet, choose "properties". Click on the small arrow in the left bottom propertie window. Click on parameters and enter manually all the parameters and values. Or you may directly hit the F10 key to see your html code.
You may have a look to our Faq page (faq.htm at the root of your installation directory). You will find a lot of help on how to configure java applets. And do not forget a thing : if you have managed to do a web site, you will succeed in configuring java applets.
