  57. <P><STRONG>InputO</STRONG> does not have any widget specific options.</P>

  61. <P>The <STRONG>InputO</STRONG> method creates a new window (given by the
  62. $widget argument) and makes it into a <STRONG>InputO</STRONG>
  63. widget.  Additional options, described above, may be specified on the
  64. command line or in the option database to configure aspects of the
  65. <STRONG>InputO</STRONG> such as its cursor or width.</P>
  66. <P><STRONG>InputO</STRONG> widgets are not visible to the user. The only
  67. purpose of <STRONG>InputO</STRONG> widgets are to accept inputs from the
  68. user, which can be done with the <STRONG>bind</STRONG> method.</P>

  71. <H1><A NAME="widget methods">WIDGET METHODS</A></H1>
  72. <P>The <STRONG>InputO</STRONG> method creates a widget object.
  73. This object supports the <STRONG>configure</STRONG> and <STRONG>cget</STRONG> methods
  74. described in <A HREF="../../../site/lib/Tk/options.html">the Tk::options manpage</A> which can be used to enquire and
  75. modify the options described above.
  76. The widget also inherits all the methods provided by the generic
  77. <A HREF="../../../site/lib/Tk/Widget.html">Tk::Widget</A> class.</P>
