  3. BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE INSTALLATION 
  4. AND/OR USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, CAREFULLY
  5. READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  6. OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT AND LIMITED
  7. WARRANTY (The "Agreement").

  9. BY INSTALLING OR USING THIS SOFTWARE YOU
  10. INDICATE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS
  11. AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT OR AGREE
  12. WITH THESE TERMS, YOU MAY NOT INSTALL OR
  13. USE THIS SOFTWARE!

  15. PREAMBLE
  16.  
  17. The terms and conditions of the R&A Library
  18. Software License Agreement have one major
  19. goal in mind; to foster a development 
  20. community based around the R&A components
  21. library and associated source code.
  22. R&A Library does however reserve the right
  23. as the sole distributor of the library 
  24. source code. Hence although we encourage
  25. you to change and modify the library to 
  26. suit your needs, you may not distribute
  27. derivative works based on the library
  28. source code without express written 
  29. permission from R&A Library authors. 
  30. Worthwhile changes and modifications to 
  31. the libraries may be submitted to R&A 
  32. Library authors for integration into a
  33. future release of the product.
  34.  
  35. LICENSE
  36.  
  37. This software, including documentation, 
  38. source code, object code and/or additional
  39. materials (the "Software") is owned by 
  40. R&A Library authors.
  41. This Agreement does not provide you with
  42. title or ownership of Product, but only a
  43. right of limited use as outlined in this
  44. license agreement. R&A Library authors
  45. hereby grant you a non-exclusive, 
  46. royalty free license to use the Software
  47. as set forth below:
  48.  
  49.  . integrate the Software with your
  50.    Applications, subject to the
  51.    redistribution terms below.
  52.  . modify or adapt the Software in whole
  53.    or in part for the development of 
  54.    Applications based on the Software.
  55.  . use portions of the R&A Library source
  56.    code or R&A Library Demo Programs in
  57.    your own products and libraries.
  58.  
  59. REDISTRIBUTION RIGHTS
  60.  
  61. You are granted a non-exclusive, 
  62. royalty-free right to reproduce and
  63. redistribute executable files created
  64. using the Software (the "Executable Code")
  65. in conjunction with software products that
  66. you develop and/or market (the 
  67. "Applications"). 
  68.  
  69. RESTRICTIONS
  70.  
  71. Without the expressed, written consent of
  72. R&A Library authors, you may NOT:
  73.  
  74.  . distribute modified versions of the 
  75.    Software, in whole or in part.
  76.  . rent or lease the Software.
  77.  . sell any portion of the Software on 
  78.    its own, without integrating it into 
  79.    your Applications as Executable Code.
  80.  
  81. SELECTION AND USE
  82.  
  83. You assume full responsibility for the
  84. selection of the Software to achieve your
  85. intended results and for the installation,
  86. use and results obtained from the Software.
  87.  
  88. LIMITED WARRANTY
  89.  
  90. THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT
  91. WARRANTY OF ANY KIND EITHER EXPRESSED OR
  92. IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE
  93. IMPLIED WARRANTIES MERCHANTIBILITY AND
  94. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE 
  95. ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND 
  96. PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT IS WITH YOU. 
  97. SHOULD THE PRODUCT PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU
  98. ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING
  99. OR ERROR CORRECTION.

  101. R&A LIBRARY AUTHORS DO NOT WARRANT THAT
  102. THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE SOFTWARE 
  103. WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT THE 
  104. OPERATION OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE 
  105. UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE.
  106.  
  107. No oral or written information given by 
  108. R&A Library shall create a warranty.
  109.  
  110. LIMITATION OF REMEDIES AND LIABILITY.
  111.  
  112. IN NO EVENT SHALL R&A LIBRARY AUTHORS, OR
  113. ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY HAVE DISTRIBUTED
  114. THE SOFTWARE AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE
  115. FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, 
  116. SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL 
  117. DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR 
  118. INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE (INCLUDING
  119. BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA 
  120. BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES 
  121. SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR 
  122. FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE TO OPERATE WITH 
  123. ANY OTHER PRODUCTS), EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER 
  124. OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE 
  125. POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
