  11. ComponentSoftware Diff (CSDiff) is a free advanced file difference analysis tool for Windows 95/NT. Use it to analyze what have changed between two revisions of the same file or folder. CSDiff is usually used to analyze program source files, HTML documents and MS-Word documents.

  13. Features of CSDiff:
  14. o Folder comparison window sorted by any key.
  15. o Rich text display providing a clear and intuitive difference analysis.
  16. o Print and print preview of difference analysis.
  17. o Analysis of MS-Word documents. (MS-Word required)

  31. Extract CSDiff.ZIP to your desired folder.

  35. You may remove CSDiff from your machine simply by removing its folder.

  39. First, create an Explorer shortcut to CSDiff.EXE and place it on your desktop (or another folder).

  41. - Double-click on the CSDiff icon to activate it with default parameters.
  42. - Drag two files (or a single file) to the CSDiff icon to activate it with your selected files.
  43. - To activate CSDiff from any external tool or DOS window, type:
  44.     <CSDiff folder>\CSDiff.exe "FilePath1" "FilePath2"

  48. Windows 95 or Windows NT (3.51 & 4.0 or later).
  49. Analysis of MS-Word documents requires MS-Word.
