  36. -In some APM implementation, hot-key switching display may cause a blank 
  37.  panel screen.  New resolution is to bypass power.drv.

  39. -Changing from 640x480 or 800x600 256 colors modes to 1024x768 256 color
  40.  results in desktop background pattern being duplicated on right and bottom 
  41.  screen in CRT only mode.

  43. -If a windowed DOS prompt is open in any non-TV display mode, switching to
  44.  TV causes a display corrruption.

  49. -In 800x600 64k colors, user is able to set new monitor refresh but the 
  50.  new refresh does not take effect.

  53. Win95 Driver limitation
  54. =======================
  55.  
  56. -In TV mode, open any application shows that bottom of the application is
  57.  chopped off because TV uses 640x400 resolution mode. 
  58.  
  59. -Switching from any non-TV display type to TV requires Win95 to restart.
  60.  This is by design.
  61.  
  62. -In TV mode, the Win95 logo screen got shifted down because TV uses 640x400
  63.  resolution mode.

  66. How to Install 754X Win95 Driver
  67. ================================
  68.  
  69. 1.  Click on the Start box in the lower left corner and proceed to Settings,
  70.     Control Panel.
  71. 2.  Inside the Control Panel group, click on the Display icon to open the
  72.     Display Properties folder and select the Settings tab (right most tab).
  73. 3.  Choose the "Change Display Type..." button and click the "Change..." 
  74.     button in the Adapter Type group.
  75. 4.  Select the "Have Disk..." button and then insert the 754X WIN95 Driver 
  76.     Installation diskette into the floppy drive A: or B: and proceed with 
  77.     OK button.
  78. 5.  "Cirrus Logic 754X (Cirrus)" will be highlighted for a VLB system or 
  79.     select "Cirrus Logic 754X PCI (Cirrus)" for PCI system.
  80. 6. Press OK and files are being copied from the diskette to your computer.
  81. 7. If a "Version Conflict" dialog box pops up and asks "Do you want to keep
  82.    this file?", answer "No".
  83. 8. Press Close again to exit Display Properties folder.
  84. 9. Select Yes to restart computer before the new driver will take effect.

  87. How to change colordepth

  90. 1. Make sure you have installed the Cirrus Logic 754X Win 95' driver (see
  91.    How to Install 754X Win95 Driver section above).
  92. 2. Click on the Start box in the lower left corner and proceed to Settings,
  93.    Control Panel.
  94. 3. Inside the Control Panel group, click on the Display icon to open the
  95.    Display Properties folder and select the Settings tab.
  96. 4. Click on the pull-down arrow from the Color palette area to select color
  97.    depth.
  98. 5. Choose OK to restart Win95.

  100. How to change resolution

  117.    How to Install 754X Win95 Driver section above).
  118. 2. Click on the Start box in the lower left corner and proceed to Settings,
  119.    Control Panel.
  120. 3. Inside the Control Panel group, click on the Display icon to open the
  121.    Display Properties folder and select the Refresh tab.
  122. 4. You can change to different refresh rates for different resolution and/or 
  123.    switching to different display type in the Active display area.
