  14. SOFTWARE IS CONDITIONED UPON COMPLIANCE BY USER WITH THE TERMS OF
  15. THIS AGREEMENT. THE SOFTWARE MAY BE EVALUATED FOR THIRTY  DAYS
  16. ON A ROYALTY FREE BASIS. CONTINUED USE AFTER EVALUATION IS CONDITIONED
  17. UPON PAYMENT BY USER OF THE REGISTRATION FEE SPECIFIED IN THE FILE:

  20. 1. LICENSE GRANT. The Author grants to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable
  21.    right to use the SOFTWARE on file servers connected to a maximum
  22.    number of user computers, or on a maximum number of user computers,
  23.    not exceeding the number of user computers specified on the packaging
  24.    for this product. This license to use the SOFTWARE is conditioned
  25.    upon your compliance with the terms of this Agreement. You agree you
  26.    will only copy the SOFTWARE into any machine-readable or printed form
  27.    as necessary to use it in accordance with this license or for backup
  28.    purposes in support of your use of the SOFTWARE. This license
  29.    is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any point by
  30.    destroying the SOFTWARE together with all copies of the SOFTWARE.
  31.    Also, the Author has the option to terminate if you fail to comply with
  32.    any term or condition of this Agreement. You agree upon such
  33.    termination to destroy the SOFTWARE together with all copies of
  34.    the SOFTWARE.

  36. 2. COPYRIGHT. You acknowledge that no title to
  37.    the intellectual property in the SOFTWARE is transferred to you. You
  38.    further acknowledge that title and full ownership rights to the
  39.    SOFTWARE will remain the exclusive property of the Author or his
  40.    suppliers, and you will not acquire any rights to the SOFTWARE
  41.    except as expressly set forth in this license. You agree that any
  42.    copies of the SOFTWARE will contain the same proprietary notices
  43.    which appear on and in the SOFTWARE.

  45. 3. REVERSE ENGINEERING. You agree that you will not attempt to reverse
  46.    compile, modify, translate, or disassemble the SOFTWARE in whole or
  47.    in part.

  49. 4. LIMITED WARRANTY. The Author warrants that the SOFTWARE will perform
  50.    substantially in accordance with the accompanying written materials
  51.    for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. Any
  52.    implied warranties relating to the SOFTWARE are limited to thirty
  53.    (30) days.

  55. 5. CUSTOMER REMEDIES. If the SOFTWARE does not conform to the limited
  56.    warranty in Section 4 above ("Limited Warranty"), the Author's entire
  57.    liability and your sole remedy shall be, at the Author's option, either
  58.    to (a) correct the error or (b) help you work around or avoid the
  59.    error. The Limited Warranty is void if failure of the SOFTWARE has
  60.    resulted from accident, abuse, or misapplication. Any replacement
  61.    SOFTWARE will be warranted for the remainder of the original Limited
  62.    Warranty period.

  64. 6. NO OTHER WARRANTIES. THE AUTHOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE IS
  65.    ERROR FREE. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IN SECTION 4
  66.    ("LIMITED WARRANTY"), THE AUTHOR DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WITH
  67.    RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT
  68.    NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR
  69.    A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS.
  70.    SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
  71.    OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY LAST, OR THE
  72.    EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
  73.    SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
  74.    THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO
  75.    HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.

  77. 7. SEVERABILITY. In the event of invalidity of any provision of this
  78.    license, the parties agree that such invalidity shall not affect the
  79.    validity of the remaining portions of this license.

  81. 8. NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR OR
  82.    HIS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL,
  83.    INCIDENTAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF THE
  84.    DELIVERY, PERFORMANCE OR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF THE AUTHOR HAS
  85.    BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT
  86.    WILL THE AUTHOR'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM, WHETHER IN CONTRACT,
  87.    TORT OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, EXCEED THE LICENSE FEE
  88.    PAID BY YOU, IF ANY.

  90. 9.ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This is the entire agreement between you and
  91.    the Author which supersedes any prior agreement or understanding,
  92.    whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this
  93.    license.
