  14. * WizCat/PRO is easy to use
  15. * WizCat/PRO is fast ! (developed with Turbo Pascal for Windows)
  16. * WizCat/PRO uses state-of-the-art graphics to display data from
  17.   its catalog. You can choose from a variety of display modes.       
  18. * Multi-language support : choose from English, French, German and Dutch
  19. * Full Drag-and-Drop support
  20. * The æWork with fileÆ function shows icons of your favorite applications ;
  21.   with a simple double-click on an icon you can start a program, which then
  22.   opens the selected file. This makes it easy to extract archive files, edit
  23.   textfiles, display graphics etc.

  25. * For each file you can enter a description of up to 500 characters.

  54. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  55. -------------------
  56. In order to run properly, WizCat/PRO requires
  57.  * MicroSoft Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups 3.11 or Windows 95
  58.  * at least 4 MB memory
  59.  * at least 2 MB space on your harddisk
  60.  * at least 1 diskdrive, harddisk or CD-ROM drive
  61.  
  62. Recommended :
  63.  * Mouse or other pointing device
  64.  * WinZip ((c) Nico Mak Computing, Inc.) for extracting archive files
  65.  
  66. Optional :
  67.  * if you want to print disklabels : a printer capable of printing graphics

  70. INSTALLATION
  71. ------------
  72. The easiest (and recommended) way to install WizCat/PRO is to use the
  73. INSTALL program.
  74.

  76. MANUAL INSTALLATION
  77. -------------------
  78. If you don't want to use the automatic installation procedure, you
  79. can install WizCat/PRO this way. Refer to WIZCAT.HLP for more information.
  80.  
  81. 1) create directory C:\WIZCAT
  82. 2) create directories C:\WIZCAT\ARCHIVES and C:\WIZCAT\CATALOGS
  83. 3) copy the files to the C:\WIZCAT directory
  84. 4) Rename file INSTALL.BIN to INSTALL.ZIP 
  85. 5) extract INSTALL.ZIP into C:\WIZCAT (using PKUNZIP or WinZip)
  86. 6) move file CTL3DV2.DLL to the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory
  87. 7) move file SAMPLE.CAT to the \WIZCAT\CATALOGS directory
  88. 8) add WIZCAT.EXE, WIZCATMC.EXE and WOODLE.EXE to a Windows program group
  89.    (specify C:\WIZCAT as 'working directory')
