  1. Screen Saver Activate 1.2.4b for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0

  4. To install Screen Saver Activate, extract all of the files from the archive 
  5. file SSACVT.ZIP into a temporary subdirectory of your choice or to
  6. a floppy drive; then run INSTALL.EXE.
  7.  
  8. If you are installing from the diskette version of the program; just run 
  9. INSTALL.EXE which is in the root directory of the distribution diskette.
  10.  
  11. The installation program will prompt you for a directory in which to
  12. install Screen Saver Activate. The default is 'C:\Program files\ssactivate'.
  13. You will also be given the options of creating a personal program group
  14. and an entry in the 'Startup' group. Once the installation is
  15. complete, you will be given the option of executing Screen Saver Activate.

  17. For a manual installation, simply copy the executable file ssactvat.exe to 
  18. a location of your choice, rename it ssactivate.exe then run it.
  19. This is the only file needed for program operation.

  21. For a version history of Ssactivate, see the text file HISTORY.TXT located
  22. in the distribution archive or in the root directory of the distribution 
  23. floppy.

  36. YESNO.COM    Used during program uninstall procedure.
  37. UNINST.ICO    Icon file.
  38. SSA-DEL.BAT    Uninstall batch file.
