  1. Middle Mouse Button Installation Instructions.
  2.  
  3. To automatically install Middle Mouse Button, extract the files from the 
  4. archive file MBUTTON.ZIP to a temporary subdirectory (folder) or to a 
  5. diskette. Then execute the program INSTALL.EXE which will automatically 
  6. install the program files to the appropriate directory for the operating 
  7. system being used. NOTE: If you are upgrading from a previous version, 
  8. you should terminate the currently executing copy of Middle Mouse Button 
  9. before running the installation program.

  11. Once the Mbutton files are copied to your disk all you have to do is execute
  12. "MBUTTON.EXE".  The installation program will optionally create an entry for 
  13. "MBUTTON.EXE" in your "Startup" group (or create a Windows 95 "Startup" menu 
  14. entry). It will then run every time you logon to the system.

  16. To manually install Middle Mouse Button, extract the files from the 
  17. archive file MBUTTON.ZIP to a temporary subdirectory (folder) or to a 
  18. diskette. Then copy the files into the subdirectory (folder) of your choice. 
  19. If installing on a Windows NT system we suggest using the "Win32app\MouseButton" 
  20. subdirectory (folder). If installing on a Windows 95 system we suggest using 
  21. the "Program Files\MouseButton" folder.

  23. On a Windows 95 installation, the files "MBUT-DEL.BAT" & "YESNO.COM" should be 
  24. placed in the "Windows\System" folder.

  26. On a Windows NT installation, the files "MBUT-DEL.CMD" & "YESNO.COM" should be 
  27. placed in the "Windows\System32" folder.

  29. UnInstalling Middle Mouse Button
  30.  
  31. The installation program will create an uninstall icon for you unless you chose 
  32. to not allow the creation of a program group. To manually remove this 
  33. application from a system follow the instructions below:

  35. Windows NT: Execute the batch file MBUT-DEL.CMD with a command line option of 
  36. C:\win32app\MouseButton (assuming that this is where you chose to install 
  37. the application). After this file executes, you will need to manually remove 
  38. any program groups and icons related to the application.

  40. Windows 95: Execute the batch file MBUT-DEL.BAT with a command line option of 
  41. "C:\Program Files\MouseButton" (assuming that this is where you chose to 
  42. install the application). After this file executes, you will need to manually 
  43. remove any program groups and icons related to the application.
