  6. At last, the first full release of ClipFile.  Those of you who liked
  7. the beta versions will, I'm sure, find this even better.

  9. ClipFile is copyright software.  It may be distributed freely and the
  10. available features used without charge, provided all the files listed
  11. below are distributed together and not modified in any way.

  22. Access to all the features requires a registration code.  Codes are
  23. issued by A. S. Software at $19 US per computer.  ClipFile can be
  24. registered on Compuserve.  See the help-file for full details.

  27. Installing

  29. To install ClipFile, extract the distributed files to any directory.
  30. Then use the right mouse button to display the popup menu for
  31. ClipFile.inf and select the install command. ClipFile will be
  32. installed

  34. It is possible that the popup menu for ClipFile.inf may not display
  35. an install command. This will most likely be if you have
  36. (deliberately or accidentally) associated .inf files with a different
  37. command.  If this is the case try double-clicking the file
  38. Install.reg;  this will restore the original association for .inf
  39. files.

  41. If you still donÆt get the install command on the popup menu, click
  42. the Start button, choose Run, and type the following command (you can
  43. save having to type it in full by copying and pasting it):

  45. rundll setupx.dll,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 <path>\clipfile.inf

  47. <path> is the full path-name of the folder where you have put the
  48. ClipFile distribution files.

  53. For full details run the help file "CFAdvDlg.hlp".  To get help when
  54. ClipFile is installed, right-click on any folder, select
  55. CopyPaths->Advanced, and click the help button in the "about" box or
  56. on the main dialog.
