  3. BingoPro is a bingo game for Windows. The player may play from 1 to 6 cards
  4. and the computer plays from 1 to 24 cards.

  6. EQUIPMENT

  8. The game requires at least 4 meg of ram.
  9. To hear the voices used for calling the numbers, a soundcard is required.
  10. Without a sound card, the system beep is used when each number is called.

  12. INSTALLATION
  13. ------------
  14. The game has been written with Visual Basic 4 - professional. After unzipping
  15. the files, run the program setup.exe to uncompress the files used by the
  16. program and install them in the proper directories.  The files bingopro.exe,
  17. binghelp.hlp and bingopro.snd will be installed in the game directory, while
  18. numerous files required by Visual Basic 4, including the runtime file
  19. vb40016.dll will be installed in the windows/system directory.

  21. Description
  22. -----------
  23. BingoPro may be set to mark the cards automatically or the player may mark
  24. the cards as they are called.  Games can be set to require either single, 
  25. double or triple bingos.  Various patterns may be allowed as bingos.  The 
  26. game difficulty can be changed by adjusting the computer's accuracy at 
  27. marking its cards. A peek option allows the player to look at all of the 
  28. computer's cards at any point during the game. The time between each number 
  29. being called may be adjusted.  The player may change the color used to mark
  30. the cards at any point in the game.  A score based on game difficulty is  
  31. generated whenever the player wins a game and a record is kept of the five
  32. highest scores.
