  13. SECTION I         I N S T A L L A T I O N
  14.

  16. SUMMARY: Download; Decompress to hard drive directory;
  17.      Run Setup from that directory; Respond to prompts; Run.
  18.  
  19. REQUIRES:
  20.     WINDOWS 3.1, WINDOWS 95, or OS/2 2.1
  21.     VBRUN300.DLL
  22.     PKUNZIP V2.0 or greater (or comparable decompressor)
  23.  
  24.     About 2 MBytes of harddisk during install, 1 MByte after install
  25.  
  26. 1) This assumes that you received or downloaded SUP130.ZIP onto a diskette
  27.    or hard drive.
  28.  
  29. 2) From a DOS session, make a target directory
  30.    e.g.  mkdir c:\supermkt
  31.  
  32. 3) Change to that directory:  
  33.     c:
  34.     cd \supermkt
  35.  
  36. 4) Decompress the file--Key: pkunzip P\SUP130
  37.           where P is the path to the downloaded file, such as:
  38.  
  39.             unzip a:\SUP130 or unzip c:\download\SUP130
  40.  
  41. 5) This operation creates several files, described below, but 
  42.    particularly SETUP.EXE, needed in the next step.
  43.  
  44. 6A) From the Program manager of Windows or WIN-OS/2, select the 
  45.    menu command: File,Run
  46.  
  47. 6b) Or From Windows 95, Select the Start Button, then the Run option
  48.  
  49. 7) Key: c:\supermkt\setup and Enter     
  50.         where c:\supermkt is the directory used 
  51.         in steps 2 and 3, above.
  52.  
  53. 8) Follow the instructions during the installation. You are asked to select
  54.    a target directory for the application. You may use the  
  55.    default which is the directory containing the decompressed files.
  56.    
  57. 9) A program group and item are automatically created. Click on the 
  58.    Super!Market icon and execute the program.
  59.  
  60. 10) To get help, press the F1 key at any time. To learn about the
  61.     system, choose the GETTING STARTED topic in the help menu.
  62.

  64. N.B.: Setup will not run unless VBRUN300.DLL is in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  65.       directory. Obtain VBRUN300.DLL from the distribution system
  66.       where you obtained Super!Market. For example, on CompuServe it
  67.       can be found in the Windows Shareware forum in the Index Section
  68.       as file VBRUN3.ZIP.

  122.     E. Duplicate Files
  123.                 
  124.         If you decompressed files in the application directory
  125.         then you have duplicates of the files which have been
  126.         copied into the Windows directories, listed in B and
  127.         C, above. You may delete these from the application
  128.         directory. In addition, file "supermkt.exx" can be deleted. 
  129.  
  130.         If you decompressed files into a directory separate from
  131.         the application and windows directories, then all of the
  132.         files in that decompression directory can be deleted.

  145.     CompuServe registration directions are given in the Help file.

  147.     This package has been tested in Windows 95 and it runs very well.
  148.     However, the full sound support is not available unless your registry
  149.     was converted from WIN.INI with the Super!Market sound events.
  150.  
  151.     A full Windows 95 version of Super!Market is under construction.
