  1. Guitar Workshop v.1.54

  3. Requires:    Microsoft Windows 3.1 or Windows '95,
  4.              VBRUN300.DLL, sound card, 256-color VGA.

  6. Recommended: fast '486 or better.
  7.  
  8. Optional:    Midi synthesizer.
  9.  
  10. To install:  Unzip files to temporary subdirectory, then 
  11.              run SETUP.EXE from Windows.
  12.  
  13. To run:      Launch GUITAR WORKSHOP icon,
  14.              select "Lessons", then "TUTORIAL"
  15.  
  16. Benefits of
  17. registering: Registered users receive the latest version
  18.              of Guitar Workshop with several enhancements
  19.              including the ability to use other Guitar
  20.              Workshop lesson modules and song-packs. Also
  21.              includes "Cool Licks" lesson module at no
  22.              additional charge.  This Guitar Workshop lesson 
  23.          module is adapted from Junior Smith's "Cool Licks"
  24.              audio tape and tab sheets. Includes about 18 licks 
  25.          appropriate for jazz, rock, country, & blues.  
  26.              Intermediate level but also useful for beginners 
  27.              (at a slower tempo).  Includes chromatic scales, 
  28.              arpeggios, open string runs, ending runs, and chordal
  29.              licks.  In addition to Cool Licks, a few more songs
  30.              are included as well.  Also includes lesson module
  31.              on how to enter your own songs into Guitar Workshop
  32.              format.  Several other lesson modules and song-packs
  33.              are/will be available (all under $20).  Registered
  34.              users will be notified of these as they become
  35.              available.
