  1. README File For DizTool

  3. DizTool is a program designed to make the job of creating a FILE_ID.DIZ
  4. file for your program easier. DizTool provides a Windows interface,
  5. and allows creating the file using a simple data-entry form. In addition,
  6. you can also use DizTool to edit an existing FILE_ID.DIZ file.
  7.  
  8. This is the Windows 95 32-bit version of DizTool. We also have a
  9. 16-bit Windows 3.1 version of this program available. If you don't yet
  10. have Windows 95, but you want to get DizTool, send us a note by e-mail.
  11. This program will run only under Windows 95, not Windows 3.1. It may
  12. run under Windows NT, but that has not been tested, and it is not
  13. guaranteed to work under Windows NT.

  15. To install DizTool on your computer, unzip the archive into an empty 
  16. directory or onto a floppy disk. Click the start button and select "Run"
  17. from the menu. Type <path>install and select OK. This will run the
  18. DizTool installation utility, which will install DizTool on your system.

  20. Once you have installed DizTool, read the help file, which describes both
  21. how to use the program, and the format of the FILE_ID.DIZ file.

  42.    DizTool is offered as shareware, and you are granted a limited license to use
  43. DizTool for a period of 30 days, for evaluation. At the end of that 30 day
  44. period, you must either register your copy of DizTool, or discontinue
  45. using DizTool and remove it from your computer.
