  4. Thank you for evaluating Text to Paper!

  6. Text to Paper was created to solve all your text printing
  7. needs. Designed to handle files from most major
  8. operating systems (including DOS, Windows, Mac, UNIX,
  9. and Mainframes), it includes options for efficiently
  10. processing plain text files, programming source code,
  11. "print to file" output from DOS and UNIX applications,
  12. redirected line printer output of mainframe applications,
  13. as well as any text that can be placed on the Windows
  14. clipboard.

  16. Text to Paper includes an extensive and versatile array
  17. of formatting options. In addition to the standard margin,
  18. orientation, and font settings, it also includes settings
  19. for:
  20.     N-up printing (multiple pages on each sheet)
  21.     Added edge margin for page binding or hole punching
  22.     Page borders
  23.     Alternate line shading
  24.     Headers on any page edge
  25.     Font fitting for specified page widths
  26.     Line spacing by #lines, measurement, or lines per page
  27.     Tab settings in characters or measurement
  28.     Character spacing adjustments
  29.     Word wrap
  30.     Line Numbers

  33. Content based pagination provides a means to specify
  34. conditions for page breaks, non-breaking paragraphs,
  35. and line skipping that depend on the actual text contained
  36. in the files.

  38. Its "style" based formatting means that the formatting
  39. options are determined automatically from the file
  40. specification. Any number of user specified print styles
  41. may be created, each associated with one or more file
  42. specifications.

  44. Print jobs allow multiple files to be managed as a group or
  45. project and assigned to a specific printer. You may print
  46. the entire job, selected files from the job, or only the
  47. files that have changed since last printed. The formatting
  48. options assigned to each file in the job can also be
  49. individually overridden as needed.

  51. Text to Paper also has limited command-line interface that
  52. can be used to control the application from the command-line
  53. or from within other applications that can start programs.

  97. 2) Installing/Uninstalling
  98.  
  99. To install Text to Paper run the SETUP.EXE program. This
  100. program will allow you to select a target directory for the
  101. installation. It will then install all the Text to Paper
  102. application files to this directory and create a Program
  103. Manager (Windows 3.1) or Start Menu (Windows 95) group.
  104.  
  105. To uninstall Text to Paper, run the TTP_ZAP.EXE program that
  106. was installed to the Text to Paper directory specified
  107. during the installation. This will remove all the files
  108. installed by the setup routine and undo any configuration
  109. changes made to your system. You are responsible for
  110. removing any other files that you may have placed in the
  111. Text to Paper directory and for removing the directory
  112. itself.

  118. TEXT TO PAPER is a "shareware program" and is provided at no
  119. charge to the user for evaluation. The essence of
  120. "user-supported" software is to provide personal computer
  121. users with quality software without high prices, and yet to
  122. provide incentive for programmers to continue to develop new
  123. products. If you find this program useful and wish to
  124. continue to use TEXT TO PAPER after the 30-day evaluation
  125. period, you must make a registration payment to
